Hi, I'm Denise.
a cognitive architect,
detail fiend,
conceptual creative,
content mapper,
& knowledge enabler.
My philosophy centers on adapting and personalizing education to meet diverse needs, making it both engaging, accessible, and effective.
I am a lifelong learner, driven by an insatiable curiosity and a passion for education. With a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a soon-to-be Master of Science in Learning Design & Technology, I am dedicated to enhancing learning experiences through diverse, hands-on, and accessible methodologies.
My academic journey began at a secondary school dedicated to creative writing, fostering an early foundation in expressive communication. This progressed to an undergraduate degree in psychology and a graduate education in learning design & technology. Together, these experiences have cultivated a deep appreciation for mental health's role in overall well-being, guiding my pursuits in learning design to create accessible educational experiences that respect and respond to diverse psychological needs.
Since 2017, my career has focused on translating complex technical concepts into accessible content, creating detailed workflow documentation, and providing both recorded and live demonstrations. This experience has been impactful in my work across sectors such as healthcare, consumer electronics, and travel/tourism. I have developed independent learning courses, product support training materials, and knowledge base articles, all designed to improve understanding and operational efficiency. My goal is to create accessible and diverse learning experiences that empower individuals and organizations alike.
